Cashflow Solution team

James Inglis-Jones and Samantha Gleave jointly manage the Cashflow Solution range of funds having first worked together in 1998. James previously managed funds at Fleming Investment Management, JP Morgan Fleming and Polar Capital. Samantha formerly worked at Sutherlands Limited, Fleming Investment Management, Credit Suisse First Boston and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Economic Advantage team

Anthony Cross joined Liontrust from Schroders in 1997 and launched the UK Smaller Companies Fund a year later. Anthony’s co-managers on the Economic Advantage range of UK equity funds are Julian Fosh (formerly Scottish Amicable Investment Managers, Britannic Investment Managers, Scottish Friendly Society and Saracen Fund Managers), Victoria Stevens (who joined from FinnCap), Matt Tonge (previously on the Liontrust dealing desk), Alex Wedge (who joined from N+1 Singer), Natalie Bell (previously on the Liontrust Responsible Capitalism team) and Alex Game (who joined from Unicorn Asset Management).

Global Equities team

The Global Equities team is headed by Mark Hawtin, who has 40 years of investment experience, including managing global equity long only and long/short funds. Mark joined Liontrust in 2024 to create the Global Equities team along with David Goodman, Kevin Kruczynski and Pieran Maru. The four managers run a range of long only and long/short equity funds. Ewan Thompson, Tom Smith and Ruth Chambers joined Liontrust in 2019 and manage emerging markets equity funds and the Japan Equity Fund.

Global Innovation team

The three-strong Global Innovation team is led by Storm Uru who is supported by Clare Pleydell-Bouverie and James O'Connor. Storm Uru, who developed the Global Innovation investment process, manages the Liontrust Global Innovation, Liontrust Global Dividend and Liontrust Global Technology funds. The three managers joined Liontrust as part of the acquisition of Neptune Investment Management in October 2019. Storm Uru has 12 years’ industry experience and holds a degree in finance from Massey University and an MBA from Oxford University, Clare Pleydell-Bouverie has 8 years of industry experience and holds a degree in history from Oxford University and James O’Connor has 9 years of industry experience and holds a degree in psychology and economics from Harvard University and a degree in education research from Oxford University.

Sustainable Investment team

The team has been managing the Sustainable Future funds for more than 22 years. The team is headed by Peter Michaelis who has been managing the funds since launch. The fund managers all joined from Alliance Trust Investments (ATI) as part of its acquisition and were previously running the Sustainable Future fund range at Aviva Investors.
